2020 / Personal project

The Dawn Star Quilt pattern is by Jennifer Sampou. I had learned to ice dye during pandemic quarantine and wanted to make a quilt with my first experiments.

Method: Patchwork sawtooth star blocks made with fabric I ice dyed.

This was a great pattern to practice traditional patchwork quilt block construction. I quilted it in 1” lines which took forever.
